Katie is an HR and Crewing professional with 20+ years’ experience in developing people strategies and leading global crewing operations across various sectors in the maritime industry.   Originally from Scotland, Katie has spent most of her career in the Middle East working within the offshore sector.  Katie joined V., a global leader in ship management and marine services, in 2021 as Senior Crew Management Partner, overseeing crew management activities for the UK & Americas region and the company’s largest cargo fleet.  She has recently taken up a group role as Director Culture and Engagement, where her focus is on designing and implementing initiatives that drive positive crew culture and improve wellbeing and engagement.
